Fur Reals?

Wow! I love animal print but I don't even think I'd take it this far.  It seems that the lost art of body painting has made a comeback in Europe. There are body paint competitions, conventions and just websites with body paint portfolios. Don't get me wrong some of the painting is truly amazing..I just can't stop laughing at some of the poses. Don't miss the Tron cyborg,  The Oriental Dragon or the body painting activists. Of course my favorite is leopard man and cheetah girl.

Vixen

The leather, the studs, the animal print...and fur reals..that hair.. I need that raccoon tail in my hair..

so I'm totally obsessed with their style  but more importantly that raccoon tail! I looked online into how to get one. It's actually called a "coontail" and unfortunately the only ones online lack any kind of taste level at all...I know it sounds like an oxymoron but there are non that look natural..they all look like they were purchased from hot topic.  So whether you are buying them on etsy to attach yourself, making your own at home or paying top dollar at a salon you too can have a coontail of your own.

The Brown Sisters

I came across these lovely ladies one night on flickr. I have to say I fell in love right away.  I can only hope that I am half as fabulous when I'm this age. One thing is for sure I will not have to update my wardrobe. I've already started collecting. Ironically the pieces that work for me now will probably take me into my later decades. That is the beauty of my obsession. It never goes out of style and it crosses over all age barriers.

Vivian and Marian Brown live in San Francisco's Nob Hill. Reading up on these ladies I found out that the are local  SF icons.  They have dressed alike from birth. They take turns each day chosing what to wear and what to eat.

The Marchesa Lusia Casati

The Marchesa Luisa Casati is described as one of Europe's most scandalous, eccentric celebrity of the 20th century. She was known to wear live snakes as jewelry and walk naked with nothing more then a Fur.She collected palaces and exotic animals and was often seen "parading her pet cheetahs on diamond studded leashes"

Her beauty and style made her a muse to many painters and photographers. Which made her "the most artistically represented woman in history after Cleopatra and the Virgin Mary."

Her love of jewels and exotic animals directly inspired the 'Panther' collection for Cartier.

Her stories of love affairs, losing her pet Boa Constrictor at the Ritz Hotel in Paris, and wax statue dinner guests are all completely intriguing.
