Nice Rug

I'm a vegetarian. No matter how beautiful real animal skins look I always feel guilty enjoying them too much knowing what went into making them. That is why I was so excited to walk by the "Big Cats and Tiger pelt project" by Ruth Marshall.  These are all textile  exact pelts of and individual large cat residing at the Bronx Zoo.  If you are in Williamsburg you should definitely stop by the Dam Stuhltrager Gallery. The address is  38 Marcy Ave, Brooklyn. The show is running April 10-May 17.

Charley Harper

Charley Harper was a artist based in Cincinnati. Most of his art was "nature inspired" which I love. Based on his content he did allot of work with The National Park Service, the Cincinnati Zoo and the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary.
